I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mon Plaisir - Chambres D'Hotes in Villefranche-de-Rouergue and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the comfortable king bed in my room. After a long day of exploring the beautiful city, sinking into that luxurious bed was pure bliss. Not to mention the spacious and well-appointed bathroom, which was a welcome retreat after a day of sightseeing.

While my overall experience at Mon Plaisir - Chambres D'Hotes was fantastic, there was one minor issue that I noticed. The database mentioned that the hotel may be a bit too keen with the radiators, and I did find this to be the case during my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Mon Plaisir - Chambres D'Hotes. Jane and Dave, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, heating the room before our return each day and replenishing our fridge with drinks and snacks. the location was idyllic, surrounded by countryside and the peaceful sounds of nature, yet just a short walk away from a town with all the conveniences you could need. It was also a great base for exploring the beautiful sites of Dordogne, Lot, and Aveyron. the Thursday market in the town was an unforgettable experience. the room was well-equipped with toiletries, and the wifi was excellent. it felt like a home away from home.

This charming B&B is nestled on the hillside on the banks of the Aveyron river, offering a picturesque location for a relaxing stay. the rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds, and some even have balconies overlooking the river. the hosts go above and beyond to make guests feel at home, providing small touches like complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. the breakfasts are delicious, with a selection of fresh croissants, breads, cheese, and meat. the location is a short walk from the town of Villefranche de Rouergue, making it easy to explore the area.

The hosts were super cool and made us feel at home. The room had all the things we needed, like a computer, fridge, and even snacks and drinks! We went hiking in the woods and had a blast exploring the beautiful countryside. And breakfast was so good, with fresh croissants and yummy cheese. We want to go back ASAP!

If I had to say one thing, it would be that there was no party scene. We're teenagers and love to dance and have fun, so we wished there was a place nearby where we could go out and party at night.

As a senior woman, I greatly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to the rooms, amenities, and parking right outside. It made my stay hassle-free and convenient.

I would have loved to have more activities specifically catered for senior people. The children working there were lovely and attentive, but a few more options or suggestions on nearby attractions suitable for older guests would have made my vacation even better.

I especially appreciated the small touches, such as the bowl of fruit, beer, and chocolate in the fridge. the breakfast each morning was delicious, with a variety of fresh croissants, breads, cheese, and cereals. Dave and Jane truly took care of their guests and made me feel at home. the location of Mon Plaisir allowed for beautiful walks through the woodlands along the riverside, and there were plenty of nearby villages to explore. I only wish I had more time to stay and discover all that the area had to offer. I would highly recommend Mon Plaisir , Chambres D'Hotes for its exceptional value and wonderful hosts. Cons: Nothing to dislike 😊.

Lovely location, comfortable room with own access. Fridge stocked with beer, water, chocolate. Fruit and sweet bowl restocked regularly. Great view and fab terrace. Good, plentiful breakfast and owners have great local knowledge. Would go back.
